This position offers an Audit Semi/Senior an exciting opportunity to work within a professional services environment in the Accounting & Audit department, based South of London.

Our client is a small accountancy firm with approximately 20 staff in the office. They are recognised for their commitment to delivering high-quality services for long term repeat and new business, spanning across a multitude of industry sectors.

Description

  • Overseeing and executing auditing projects with full audit transparency
  • Be involved in the full audit procedure, including assisting juniors on assignments
  • Apply UKGAAP, IFRS and FRS102(a) standards appropriately and correctly
  • Building relationships with clients and your team
  • Reviewing financial statements and records for accuracy
  • Identifying and communicating audit findings to senior management
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and changes
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of audit processes and systems

Profile

A successful Audit Semi/Senior should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong knowledge of auditing and accounting principles
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in relevant computer software (CCH/Caseware knowledge is desirable)
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Have previous experience working within an mixed audit and accounts role is preferable
  • Must have full UK working rights
