The Audit Manager will play a crucial role in managing and delivering audit engagements from planning through to final audit report. This position is based in Mid Kent and requires a meticulous professional with exceptional knowledge in Accounting & Finance.

Description
- Audit and accounts responsibilities split 75%/25% respectively.
- Manage and deliver audit engagements from planning to completion.
- Lead and supervise the work of the audit team.
- Ensure audit processes are followed in accordance with firm and professional standards.
- Maintain and develop client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.
- Prepare and present reports that reflect audit results.
- Keep abreast of current changes and trends in the accounting industry.
- Preparing management and year end accounts.
- Participate in business development initiatives.
Profile
A successful Audit Manager should have:
- Professional certification (ACCA, ACA) or qualified by experience.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the professional services industry.
- Strong understanding of auditing and control practices.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
