Description
- Responsible for liaising with your designated departmental area, developing and communicating a clear strategic vision with the goals of the LA.
- Delivering strategic financial advice to senior stakeholders.
- Contributing to financial planning and budget management
- Evaluating financial performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with other team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Providing financial input into the development of strategic plans.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Monitoring and analysing financial data and trends.
- Contributing to the development of financial policies and procedures.
Profile
A successful Strategic Finance Business Partner should have:
- Qualified Accountant
- Excellent Business Partnering experience
- Minimum of 5 years local authority experience
- Ideally with either Education, Child Services, Adult service or City experience
- Ability to develop and communicate a clear strategic vision that aligns with the team
- Strong expertise in financial management and planning.
- Ability to deliver strategic advice and contribute to financial planning.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
Job Offer
- Day rate between £550 and £650 a day dependent on experience
- Minimum 6 month role
- Remote role 1 day a month onsite
- The opportunity to contribute to significant public sector projects.
