A Commercial Finance Analyst position has opened up within the Accounting & Finance department of a well established global firm who are industry leaders in their market.
Description
The key responsibilities of a Commercial Finance Analyst will include:
- Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
- Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support.
- Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Recommend actions by analysing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
Profile
A successful Commercial Finance Analyst should have:

A strong academic background in Finance or a related field.
- An active part qualified studier.
- Have month end experience including accruals, prepayments, and management accounts

Proven experience in a similar commercial finance/ analytical role.

Advanced Microsoft Excel and other financial planning software.

Excellent analytical, decision-making, and strategic planning skills.

Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
Job Offer
- Salary of £40,000 – £45,000 based on experience
- Hybrid working split 3 days in office, 2 day a week WFH
