Description
- Assist the FP&A Manager in the compilation of yearly statutory accounts, statutory notes to the accounts, and accompanying schedules to ensure timely completion within the year-end deadline.
- Create a more responsive budgeting system that is linked with strategic strategies and improves bottom line performance.
- Prepare accurate, relevant, and meaningful monthly management accounts in a timely way for the executive team to examine.
- Monthly meeting with budget holders to verify that the budget position is understood and that remedial steps are done when an overspend is expected.
- Responsibility for creating a cash flow report for the executive team, emphasising periods of cash flow strain.
- Assist the FP&A manager in producing the 5-year budget.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:

Newly qualified/ Part qualified – ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

Experience of preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts

Experience evaluating and explaining variances from budgets and forecasts.

Proven experience in forecasting and cost analysis.
Job Offer

An estimated yearly salary of £44,000 to £50,000.
