This Financial Accountant position is an exciting opportunity for a part-qualified/finalist accountant looking for the next step in their career. You will be responsible for weekly KPI reporting, month/quarter/year end reporting, budgeting/forecasting and more, as you support the finance director and wider finance team.

Description
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for:
- Assisting with month end, quarterly statutory pack and annual disclosure reviews
- KPI reporting
- Assisting with cashflow reviews
- Interpreting and analysing contract or events in accordance with IFRS
- Assisting with the implementation and improvement of financial processes, controls and systems
- Assisting with preparations of annual budgets, regular and cash flow forecasts
- Performing variance analysis on budgets vs actuals
- Approving journals, bank payments on fund transfers
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis
Profile
The successful Financial Accountant:
- PQ/Finalist ACCA/ACA/CIMA or QBE
- Previous experience with statutory accounting, reporting and business planning
- Strong excel experience
- Proven ability to learn and improve accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and an eye for improvement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to explain and present financial findings to non-finance stakeholders
- Proactive and positive attitude to their work
Job Offer
- £50,000 – £55,000 salary
- Permanent contract
