In the role of Management Accountant, the successful candidate will provide financial information to assist in decision making and maintain control over the company’s financial resources. The role is based in Basingstoke and is critical to the success of our industrial / manufacturing operation.

Description
- Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Analysing financial data and providing financial advice to management
- Assisting with budget preparation and control
- Ensuring compliance with financial legislation and standards
- Contributing to the development of financial systems and processes
- Coordinating with internal and external auditors
- Participating in strategic financial projects
- Supporting the Accounting & Finance department with other tasks as required
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A recognised accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA)
- Experience in a similar role within the industrial / manufacturing sector
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
