Description
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the statutory reporting process for the UK company accounts and pension scheme
- Prepare UK company and pension scheme accounts using Caseware
- Serve as the primary contact for external auditors
- Complete impairment reviews for intellectual property and investments
- Manage month-end accounting, budgeting, and forecasting for foreign exchange, hedging, and inventory deferrals
- Complete ONS surveys
- Collaborate with the finance team on cashflow forecasting for the global treasury team and going concern assessments
Profile
Key Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA)
- Experience auditing or preparing statutory accounts
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams and levels
- Proficient in Excel (lookups, pivot tables, sumifs, linking files)
- Experience with Caseware is advantageous
- Knowledge of E1/Oracle/Hyperion is a plus
- Flexible, proactive, and eager to learn
