Job Title: Corporate Partner- Video Gaming/E-Sports
Salary: £200,000- £450,000
PQE Level: 8 PQE+
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Full-time
Our client is a fast-growing mid-sized City law firm who have a strong reputation within the video gaming and e-sports space. They are plugged into some very active and acquisitive clients who are generating lots of transactional activity for the corporate team.
Currently this work is picked up by some of the corporate partners but is now at the point where they feel it would be more beneficial to bring in a corporate partner who has a passion for this space, who can pick up the existing transactional work and drive this practice forward, working closely with colleagues in commercial, employment and tax.
Due to the amount of internal work, they will consider a senior associate with expertise in this space, who is looking to move into their first partner role, or an existing partner who is interested in spending more time on these sectors.
Our client, a large City law firm, has an impressive PE offering with a particular strength within the secondaries market where they are a leading name.
This role suits a generalist PE and/or private M&A lawyer who is looking to become more specialised and is excited by the opportunity to focus on a growing and lucrative area where there is far more of an opportunity to make a name for yourself.
