About you:

Are you a HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist seeking a rewarding locum position in Swansea? Look no further! We’re looking for Biomedical Scientists specialising in Biochemistry with significant experience using Roche Cobas analysers. If you’re enthusiastic about biochemistry then this is the perfect opportunity for you to show your skills!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and advise laboratory support worker colleagues.
  • Prioritise investigations in accordance to clinical need, ensuring optimum turnaround for urgent requests.
  • Manage emergency requests, single or multiple.
  • Liaise with IT and specialist equipment suppliers to resolve system or equipment failures
  • To respond to Major incident procedures should the need arise
  • Once competent, train other new staff and trainees.

Essential Qualifications:

We are looking for an experienced Biomedical Scientist with:

  • HCPC registration.
  • 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
  • Full UK right to work.
  • 2+ years UK lab experience within Biochemistry
  • Experience with Roche analysers
